I doubt it. I think the effect will be minimal, if there's any at all. The only place I think will be significantly impacted is Europe—mostly Italy—and it will only affect the stock market for a short time

While very unfortunate, I do not believe the Pope’s passing will have any effect on financial markets.

I think they could be a minimal effect but on the other hand when a cryptocurrency is created on behalf of the Pope and the currency is promoted then people buy it for a long or short period of time the effects may increase.

We haven’t seen much reaction. I hope no meme coins will be made for any religious figure. IMO, it would be sacrilegious to do so!

@jeffykings its been 24 hrs and we haven't seen any changes, so I guess it didn't have any impact.

I think this shows that religious institutions aren't major stakeholders in the financial market, do you think they should play more role?
