MetaWork Design Engine – Tools

The MetaWork Design Engine Tools

The MetaWork Design Engine has eight tools located on the left side of the design editor, where you can add and customize elements to your product.

1 – 3. Templates, Clipart and Images (TCI)
Free and paid TCI can be effortlessly added to your product design. To select a TCI, select it and/or drag it onto the product. Details such as name, price, etc. will appear on the TCI selection panel. You can quickly sort Images using the categories tab.

4. Product
This tab includes product info and attributes. From here, you
  • set your product color and size
  • tell us if you wish to sell the product with MetaWork
  • tell us if you wish to order the product for yourself (and how many you wish to order)

As you add different images to the product, the price will be updated automatically.

5. Text
There are hundreds of fonts and text styles to choose from. Select your chosen text, then drag into the product and edit.

6. Shapes

Shapes are in vector format, meaning the can be resized without loss of quality. ‌To use a shape, select it, drag it onto your product, then edit it.

7. Layers

Each design element you add creates a new layer. All layers which you added to the product will display on this tab. You can show/hide layers via the visibility option or delete layers.

‌You can drag and drop the layers to change the order (what’s on top/bottom). You can Lock/Unlock layers to Disable/Enable editing for that particular layer.

8. Drawing

You can free draw on your design as well. Select the color and the size of the bush, then draw what you want onto the product.
